We have had bad experiences with them: short service life – and on some reproductions the inner core is even made with the wrong twist direction. The result: the rotation pumps grease and oil up through the cable into the speedometer, the odometer gets oiled up and takes damage. We had exactly such a cable fitted ourselves – afterwards the speedometer mechanism was completely greased up and defective.
