Throttle valve sealing cap for vacuum leak test – Renault F7P / F3N

This flexible sealing cap is simply placed onto the throttle valve after the air filter and intake hose have been removed. It reliably seals the throttle valve airtight, thus enabling a clean vacuum leak test on the engine using a smoke machine.

Additionally, the cap effectively protects against dirt, dust and foreign objects when working in the engine compartment.

🔧 Technical Information & Notes:

Thanks to its flexible TPU material, it seals reliably and sits securely on the throttle body without damaging it. The original clamp is also used to ensure a secure seal. A small amount of grease can also be applied for an even better seal.

Especially when searching for air leaks, an absolutely tight seal of the throttle valve is crucial – this cap was designed and tested in practice precisely for this purpose.

- generally for F7P and F3N with dual-disc throttle valve ( NOT for Clio! )
- NOT suitable for Clio!
